Dr. Cynthia Glass, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon began private practice in 1988. She came to Lafayette after extensive training in general, plastic and aesthetic surgery. Her goal is to provide the highest quality of care in a respectful discreet manner.

To begin her career, Dr. Glass completed a Business of Science Degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in Hospital Dietetics and Nutrition, followed by pre-med at the University of New Orleans. She received her Medical Degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, LA.

After completing medical School, Dr. Glass completed a Burn Unit Fellowship at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. She then completed a five year residency program in General Surgery at the LSU Medical Center in New Orleans LA, where she was selected as Chief Teaching Resident. Following this, she completed a two year Plastic Surgery residency.

Dr. Glass is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Clinical Associate Professor in Plastic Surgery at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. She is a Fellow with American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Medical Society and the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.

Dr. Glass has received the distinguished America’s Top Surgeons Award and Women of Excellence Business and Industry Professional Award. She is past President of Louisiana Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and past Medical Director of the Society of Permanent Cosmetics Professionals. She resides in Lafayette with her husband, Charles and daughters Courtney and Katherine.

Our Center is conveniently located on the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Campus. Dr. Glass performs most of her cosmetic procedures either in her office or in the fully licensed state of the art outpatient surgery center located on site. The outpatient surgical center offers a safe, convenient and discreet option for our patients before, during and after their procedures.

In addition, our facility also includes a Medi-Spa with trained, knowledgeable aestheticians under the supervision of Dr. Glass providing advanced services to enhance the skin’s health and provide that healthy vibrant look patients want.
